My Stories
As an old sailor, I try to revive the telling of sea stories where truth and exaggeration mingle. All my stories have a basis in truth; how closely I follow the truth is up to the reader to figure out. After all, they are sea stories.
Children stories
I am also writing children's books, bringing my old shipmates along for the adventures. Mamma Bucci, Lieutenant Fahr, and more will venture around the world on the Magical Icebreaker Glacier, helping the world become a better place. I am redoing the illustration for Little Penguin, so give me a couple of months to get it fixed. Some publishers told me the story is good, but the illustrations suck. Because I do everything myself, I have to learn how to make plasable illustrations in today's world of AI-generated pictures.
Shipmates and friends, I have finished and refinished "The Great North Korean Invasion," based on a true story that happened in Charleston, up the Cooper River, in 1975. It will be included in my next book. I should have it completed by Summer 26. Another short story, "JP and the Toilet Bowl," just released, it has nothing to do with plumbing. My newest short story book, Let Me Tell You A Story, is out and ready to go. Get the Kindle version; the prices on everything have gone up, and it is all I could do to keep it at $15 on Amazon.
Along with writing, I love to travel, hike, and share my experiences. I am available for "Lack of Motivation" speaking and storytelling engagements.
