My Stories
As an old sailor, I try to revive the telling of sea stories where truth and exaggeration mingle. All my stories have a basis in truth; how closely I follow the truth is up to the reader to figure out. After all, they are sea stories.
Children stories
I am also writing children's books, bringing my old shipmates along for the adventures. Mamma Bucci, Lieutenant Fahr, and more will venture the world on the Magical Icebreaker Glacier helping the wold become a better place.
Shipmates and friends, I have finished and refinished "The Great North Korean Invasion," based on a true story that happened in Charleston, up the Cooper River, in 1975. Another short story, "JP and the Toilet Bowl," just a hint, it has nothing to do with plumbing, is ready, and I'm going to make a novel out of it. Anyone who wants to read these new stories, send me a note and I'll email them to you.
I'm rewriting Chief JP in Antarctica and will ready for sale on Amazon by Christmas.
